Mt Vernon is our 100% American raised merino wool yarn collection. In processing the wool for yarn, we discovered that is too laden with hay and straw to be acceptable in that line. These cones are 3 lbs of gorgeous merino wool yarn at 1/4 the price, however there is a lot of vegetable matter.
